Reach out to @governor.ca.gov ASAP to stop toxic PFAS! Monday is the LAST DAY for him to sign or veto bills this legislative session

#SB682 by @benallenca.bsky.social bans toxic PFAS from cookware, cleaning products & more! These “forever chemicals” harm our health & environment. CA deserves safer products – like 6 other states already have!

CA – urge @governor.ca.gov to support this bill and sign SB 682 into law!!

Local agencies in California have shown that they are willing to expose communities to unacceptable levels of pollution from fossil fuel industries. Allowing more pipeline construction is a horrible idea.

As the article notes, SF accounts for A LOT of coastal California's sewage spills. The EPA & CA have joined us in suing SFPUC for its 500+ Clean Water Act violations since 2019, including bypassing treatment systems and failing to maintain required treatment capacity during storms

We need your help! Newsom is trying to get the legislature to waive key environmental protections.

Please call your reps ASAP and tell them to oppose any trailer bills that eliminate CEQA review of updates to the Water Quality Control Plan for the SF Bay-Delta 🌊

Big win for one of California's most ancient--and imperiled-- species!

The Feds now have to take action to assess the Bay's White Sturgeon population and ensure they have the protections they're entitled to under the #EndangeredSpeciesAct
