This Bill is a political stunt in the US and asks for Homeland security to negotiate with Canada for access for their border guards

The FBI and RCMP already work together and have offices in each other’s countries attached to consulates & embassy

With investment in ports in Montreal, Churchill, Prince Rupert and Halifax we can increase capacity

Will need more rail to get goods from around Canada to ports

Our largest port in Vancouver reported record levels of activity

We need to trade with China and reduce the tariffs but tying ourselves to China like we did the US is going from pan to fire

Canada needs to build supply chains to sell finished goods

Yes The new military procurement office is a good first step towards streamlining the process and untangling the Red Tape

So far Carney purchased the radar that Canada has been talking about for years and narrowed the choice of the subs to 2 possible providers

That usually took forever

How close can Canada afford to get to China without getting burned?

It’s vital Canada move away from being a colonial economy to a value added supply chain system

Yes but it takes time and for Canadian businesses to make the effort to find customers in new markets then find ways to get products to market

I think A US civil war will be more like N Ireland’ troubles, which started with shooters meme bullets, more than a Gettysburg scenario

But I haven’t heard him say those words in a Press conference or in the HoC - so the G&M added rumours to the story
