Y'all, as a kid who grew up food-insecure, plz don't do this. There is nothing more demoralizing as a little kid than being reminded of your family's poverty. We looked forward to Halloween bc it was the 1 chance to be like every other kid and get access to treats the food banks never gave out.

They also let him scattershot and create as many properties as possible, to the detriment of the actual hits. They start strong but go downhill fast. He'd probably make good limited-run miniseries. Especially if he'd accept a writers room and put some women in it.

I finally had to remove that handy-dandy Chrome extension that allowed, with a passcode, for auto-filling passwords from the Apple passwords vault because every time I clicked on ANY kind of input field, that popup came up. It felt like a better resolution than smashing my laptop in the driveway.

Also, if I, as a young & drunk person who thought a design on the wall looked cool, someday found out my tattoo was a notorious Nazi symbol, I would have it filled in and have a giant black circle tattoo before I continued to display it on my body. 8 bent legs and you claim it's a drunk spider tat.

And my husband left the Marine Corps with a tattoo he didn't have when he went in. And it's not a Nazi symbol because even when he was young and drunk and decided to get a tattoo, he would never. So miss me with the Marines get misguided tattoos bullshit. Ugly mermaids are misguided.

They make some super pretty silicone bands. We have a lot of those in our family (construction workers, firefighters, etc) and the options for them are endless. I know a couple who has Han & Leia's "I love you" and "I know" bands.

The publishing industry might be killing off mass market paperbacks in favor of the trade paperback format, but I’m thankful we still have Harlequin series romances to “accidentally” jump into my cart while I’m grocery shopping!

This made me laugh because yes, we knew all the numbers. I can remember the phone number we had when I was 14. But now?
I don't know my sons' phone numbers.

Did people really memorize phone numbers before cell phones, or is that just a movie thing?

I was watching some old shows from the 90s and noticed people would just dial numbers from memory - like they'd call their friends or family without looking anything up.
Made me wonder if that was actually normal back then? Did people genuinely have all their important numbers memorized, or did most folks keep a little address book or written list nearby?
