I don't know if I'd call prison time "a slap on the wrist", and execution for a non-violent (even if terrible) crime is pretty extreme.

Pretty rough association to give Nietzsche, given that he was critical of both because of their *religious beliefs*, not racism, and he famously ended his friendship with Wagner over his antisemitism.

Some of the COVID-19 people are somehow even more deranged than the anti-vaxxers. I think it plays right into a kind of medical paranoia (germophobia, hypochondria, etc.) some people already have.

She's 100% right. "Overrated" is not the same as "bad".

People should rent or buy based on the value propositions of each, but people feel like they "have to" buy to have a complete life or because it's an "investment" rather than a consumable good.

Liberals need to recognize this too, though I think we all pretty much do. The trick is figuring out how to persuade people that, no, I don't want to do a communism just because I think solar energy is good or whatever.

Why is it not FOSS if it's based on Google open sourcing the code? Isn't the only thing preventing it a willingness on the part of your team to make it FOSS?
