Incredible color make "Bashful" beautiful single a great addition to the garden. The 3" blooms of burgundy with fuchsia tips are striking against the golden yellow center. The plant grows to 2 1/2' and is loaded with blooms that are a good little cutflower that holds well in arrangements.

This rose bred to honor Henry Fonda. Fonda with a group of prominent actors created to protest the House Un-American Activities Committee (HUAC), which was investigating and blacklisting entertainment industry professionals for suspected Communist sympathies during the McCarthy era.
