I’m still early into Yooka-Replaylee but…

They did it!

Immediately - controls better, looks better, sounds better, paced SO MUCH better, and funnier. And I say this as someone who still does not like the original Yooka-Laylee. But Replaylee so far is good, maybe even great!

Was playing RE2 '98 on PS5, noticed this square staying at the top of the screen after Birkin fight. Remembered a @shesez.bsky.social video showing how the licker model in RE2 compresses itself to "disappear," and realized that this floating block likely IS the Birkin creature condensed into a cube!

Update: Being a dad just keeps getting better and better.

Its so fulfilling raising such a happy little toddler who expresses as much love for you as you do for them.
