But this is exploitably delicious. Not only are trumpanzees freaked out about the national security/sovereignty concerns (I am not) but the idea of Sharia being practiced in Idaho will make their heads explode. Icing on the cake will be that this was originally a Biden proposal.

Pretty sure IFF is a leading indicator. Idaho won't notice that facility at all since it's governed by Sharia Law. It's not going to be an economic beach head by any means. But the mere idea that Sharia Law may be enforced in Idaho will drive trumpanzees crazy.

Idaho Freedumb Foundation freaks out over Qatari military facility in Mountain Home.

To me, this is the least objectionable part of the plan and actually weakens our ties with Israel. Many on the left are having a knee jerk reaction against. The xenophobic right is reacting like it's over the line.

The irony of this deal is that it pulls the US further into the Arab fold on the Gulf. America's interest here has always been oil and Israel has none. Supporting Israel has never been in US interests.
