Minnesota is still under attack.

Federal thugs swarmed Roosevelt High School in Minneapolis. Witnesses report tear gas used on students and staff. At least two school employees were handcuffed. Video evidence is circulating. DHS is denying it happened 🤬

Schools should be safe havens!

If you saw today's headline that Gallup will stop measuring presidential approval, they did the same thing in 2018. They do it whenever Trump is president.

I now am left genuinely wondering who would come out looking worse in a scenario in which a Democratic Member of Congress, rather than posing a question to Pam Bondi, just says, "I have no questions for you. Go fuck yourself, dumbass."

I guess the American people are fine with the Attorney General of the U.S. behaving like a nasty 5th grade playground bully on national television? I suppose that explains a lot about how we got to where we are. The fact that someone like this is in a position of such high authority says it all.

You can joke about Pam Bondi’s ridiculous unprofessionalism all you want, but I’m deeply shocked by it: She acts as if she fears absolutely no consequences, convinced that there will be no more political power transfers. — This should shake everyone to their core.

I’m seeing enough of this in my mentions today that I, a Black Jew, need to remind everyone that in the 1930s, European Jews were not considered white and that’s why the Nazis slaughtered them and part of why other countries including the United States refused refuge to many of them

I cannot think of a worse punishment than moving from lush, green, temperate Seattle to the hot and dry hell hole of Sin City. Couldn't happen to nicer people.

(Also, anybody else think it weird the Seattle Times is running boosterism for Las Vegas while constantly shitting on their home town?)
‘Full-scale migration of wealth’: Rich Washington and California residents flocking to Las Vegas
Finances are driving high-net-worth individuals and families to seek out less regulated states and the Las Vegas Valley is one of the direct benefactors of this.

Yeah, sure, it’s probably the billionaire thing, but part of me thinks Trump wants to block this bridge in order to prevent Americans from escaping to Canada.
A billionaire family that owns a bridge crossing between Michigan and Canada has wanted Trump to stop a new bridge — and Trump is now threatening to block its opening (with authority he doesn’t have). www.nytimes.com/2026/02/09/u...

Rita and I are now sitting in a parked car atop Seward Park as far from the maddening noise as possible, blaring Beatles music on the speakers. Please somebody tell us when it’s safe to return.

I've written about the overarching post story, causes, underlying pattern. But the failure of Lewis or Bezos to even show up, literally or figuratively, on a day of devastating cuts epitomizes the profound lack of character and accountability that is so common place today within the American elite.
