Whatever you make of it as a strategy, Ds single-minded focus on the ACA tax credits has actually successfully penetrated the shutdown coverage. Play offense. Get in front of some farmers and a camera every day and talk about how the admin's corruption and insanity is destroying our agricultural industry. Rs keep talking about a farmer bailout but they can't even pass a CR much less an appropriations bill. It ain't happening this year!

I heated chopped fuyu persimmons, maple syrup, and cinnamon sticks over a double boiler for a half hour and then removed the cinnamon and blended until smooth. Ratio was 1.5 cups maple syrup, 4 persimmons, 4 cinnamon sticks, you can scale up or down

Also I realize it's completely fucking ridiculous to even suggest, but a reporter *could* write it up into a *story* that the president keeps making totally insane false accusations of paid protesters, and these are at least in part informing his illegal military deployments to US cities
