BREAKING: The Tribune confirmed on Instagram that the man shot has died, according to two sources with knowledge of the incident.

We live in a heavily armed society. If members of the public lose faith in legal and political processes of accountability, things will spiral. We really do not want that.

They’re not police. They’re not law enforcement. And if your fear of reining them in comes from mistaking them for law enforcement, you need to get over it.
