Monumental day as Sizewell C gets the final go-ahead⚡| Today’s announcement by the Department of Energy Security and Net Zero, alongside EDF, Centrica, La Caisse and Amber Infrastructure as private investors in the project, unlocks the biggest clean energy investment in a generation.

Since the Development Consent Order was triggered in early 2024, work on the Sizewell C site has seen major progress – including extensive earthworks, new road construction, and developing the rail delivery programme.
