New video out today about the two times that Victoria nearly got a nuclear power station!

This has been one of my personal favourites to make. It involved a lot of original research and I learned a lot.

Solar panels in cloudy places for instance. I have wondered if materials and construction in the systems themselves allow for a sufficient differential in energy production over the baseline carbon footprint. Many of these systems contain multiple hard to extract metals and other resources. Legit?

Today, we can celebrate one year of #phaseout of #nuclearpower in #Germany. What happened since?

▶ Emissions down 20% - to be fair, partly due to lower than projected economic growth, but #coal is on its way out.
▶ Energy security is ensured.
▶ Energy prices went down, up to -40% for industry.
