Yeah, but that's like calling someone who's been abducted and taken across state lines a "traveler."

The title "immigrant" assumes a choice to emigrate to another country. If someone is taken by force and held in another country... they're not a fucking immigrant. "Abductee?" Maybe.

Yeah, and most people would say the same. I'd never considered what you wrote until just now, and will remember it always. I'm Chippewa First Nations in Canada... we always assume everyone else is an immigrant. We at least had the choice to cross the ice to get here. You taught me something today.

I agree with what you posted here, you're right. But the OP and the person you're replying to clearly said/implied "as white people." White people in America are all immigrants.

I substitute ketchup with a big fatty slab of salted pork 😂 I also add just a sprinkle of cloves, dry mustard, a whole large onion, and a dash of liquid smoke.
