Practicing drawing dragons for the next Perils & Princesses TTRPG adventure, and I’m pretty happy with how this one turned out. I have to admit: drawing dragons is so hard for me. Four legs, plus wings is just too many appendages!
Keeping 35% of a sale that you merely act as the credit card processor for is wild behavior

I used to work in retail and even the most greedy CC processor only kept 4.5% of sales

Is dtrpg even driving views/sales? My dtrpg store earns pennies on the dollar compared to my itch store, but I'm tiny

I've been cooking up my take on N1 Against the Cult of the Reptile God, called Anyone Believe Its Not A Reptile Cult

Here's the work-in-progress regional map
I regularly send out A5 zines with 120lb cardstock covers in 6x9 "regular" envelopes with standard letter stamps and I've never had issues with the USPS. Even stuffed 3 32pg ones in a single envelope with no problems.

I haven't tried international shipping that way though
NSR is people tired of being told "that's not OSR" about anything that's not strictly b/x
in this house, we lift all the homies up to the sky <3
From my take on N1, working title: "Anyone Believe its not a Reptile Cult?"
Entrance to a swampy lair
OSE is great. The core rules (so just classic B/X from the 80s) are free online from their SRD. You'll miss the Advanced D&D content they ported to b/x from the OSE Advanced books, but thats not a great loss imho.

Hole in the Oak is where I'd start, but any of the official adventures are great!

It started as an attempt to "show off" the tools in the Warden's Guide, so folks will understand how I write adventures, so they can do it, too. I wrote a blogpost describing my thought process, and developed the adventure in a very public way.

Hot take of the day:

Anyone who spreads the idea that it's bad actually to get paid for creative work is an unfuckable loser
"Art should be free" is the exact mindset of the generative AI fans

It's a cancer that metastisizes into an artists soul, this idea that art should somehow remain outside of commerce in order to be "pure". Every famous artist you've ever heard of gets paid for theirs, you should too
IDK about you, but I kind of enjoy things like eating, a roof over my head, and lights that turn on when I flip the switch

This "nobility" thing is imaginary and largely spread by consumers of art and not producers of art

Unless you are independently wealthy, it's a toxic ideal of suffering
