Such a rush getting the first proofs of a new project in the mail! As soon as I have the first draft and most of the illustrations in layout I send to print. This not only gives me a look at margins and layout, I now have a great prop to shoot for social media and other marketing.

Hornet from Silksong is my new go-to idle doodle. Something about that head shape and eyes. It’s fun to study and uncover how this character design conveys so much action and gesture with simple shapes and almost never showing her arms or hands.

Hearing about someone playing Perils & Princesses always is a delight, but engaging with some of my fav mechanics AND making gorgeous character art?!!😍
We played Perils and Princesses on new year's eve and this was my lady, Lark of the Midnight Orchard (she was the powerful friendship class and had an owl named Lyric). Lark sacrificed herself at the end to save an npc from a death curse by using Burden and is going to play chess with Death
