I'm using UUU 4.6.2 with Spacer's Choice. Not sure if that is the last version that also works on the original. The depth buffer should work though (it did at least when I played it last).

Although I don't think you'll have a good time. You'll need to use older version of UUU and the depth buffer breaks when hotsampling (at least with Spacer's Choice edition) 😣
