YEP, still dancing in the hubs you can pay to access
ah yes, the Hamverse MCDF folder is once again open for business if anyone still has or desires the link
Gomi does, however, have a very slight - almost invisible - scar on the underside of her thumb and she doesn't patch it up. she's guilty that, of the three Warriors of Light, her two best friends were the ones that got fucked up while she remained mostly unblemished. so she keeps it.
Gomi's hands are gorgeous, soft and well cared for (because she saw a wrinkle on her knuckles once and had a panic attack about getting old)

Aoibheann's are surprisingly slender and dainty for someone who does lots of manual work, and she doesn't even put in any effort either. audacious.
you know what, late night #wolqotd

What do your WOL/OC's hands look like? So much story and personality can be held in the hands. Describe them and provide a picture too if ya like!
when i moved to GW2 one of the first things i saw in a player hub was a circle of Charr (think Hrothgar if they were hunchback cats with tusks and Skaven influence) in thongs doing stupid dances and it made me feel at home lmao.
on some base level i can get the woes about job visual identity, but honestlyyyyyyyyyyy

part of the invisible contract you accept when you log into an MMO is that you need to deal with other players' self-expression, meaning that "job identity" should only matter to you, the player
it was a valid complete like... 11-12 years ago when the game didn't have tons of All Classes gear, but then HW added tons and StB added even more

(plus, honestly, oldhead XIV players have been bitching about the glamour system's restrictiveness - especially wrt accessories - for a decade lmao)
it's either this, lalafells/hrothgar in funny cosplays, swimsuits or that god awful gear you get at the very end of Stormblood
I PLAYED YGO COMPETITIVELY OF COURSE I MAIN THE CARD HEALER
this one is funny because it's an ancient holdover from the era where Dragoons were meant to be "DPS' who can take a hit" but in the great Role Apocalypse it lost the extra health and defensive stats, but they still keep adding Maiming gear which shares models with Fending gear
my preferred healer is AST actually
personally, i prefer to tie a job's theme not to what the devs say, but what the weapons do, and as there's many MANY kinds of weapons (the Tsukuyomi SAM weapon, for instance, is a Chokuto, the Katana's depressed older brother who went to university, and there's many sabers available to that job)
(also, and as a genuine piece of advice: you can go so far with "job theme" as a limit. my SAM glam is more of a naval officer with a cavalry saber using the Vanaspati SAM weapon than anything resembling 'samurai')
i say this because i *am* one of those people who likes their jobs to be dressed appropriately, so that you can tell what i'm playing at a glance. i just only apply that to me, others can dress however they want. it's a fun part of the MMO experience, honestly.
so if you want to keep dressing your tanks in armor, casters in robes, melees in jackets and machinists in slutty coats, go nuts. hell, i wager you'll actually have MORE options for staying within a job's theme after the restrictions lift than before.

times in FFXIV are DEMONIC, some friends and i once tried to math out how much time encompasses Yugiri's flight from Doma with the refugees, ARR-HW, the subsequent overlong boat ride to StB and then the rest of the expac

it broke our brains
you have to admire Aymeric seeing a painting of her ascending the steps of the Vault, surrounded by dead Temple Knights whose blood is painting the stairwell, and going "hmm yes. i will hang this in the Vault."
keep thinking about Ubi lately and how many people immortalized her most brutal moments with paintings, while omitting the actual brutality

imagining her walking by one of them with the young Aoibheann and thinking "tch. there were way more dead Temple Knights."
Aoibheann is only 5'9 which makes her pretty short for Hydaelyn but nearly everyone she accompanies/escorts is short as hell, so she looks massive

Yeah, I'm between jobs right now so a few comms would be amazing rn.
Hey, friends!

I've decided to open up gpose comms! It would mean so much to me if you decided to get a comm from me or even just share this around.

Ideally, comms should take 2-3 days, with maybe an extra day or two for edits and what not.

DMs and discord are open! Thanks for sharing!.

i hate to ask for help especially when everyone else is struggling rn, but my family is low on rent and were low on food due to snap benefits being taken away, and my family is a big family so we got lots of mouths to feed and while i try to get hours at my job its hard to pick up shifts.
