Love to @grantdawg.bsky.social today on his birthday. Leeroy says he looks good for eleventy in dog years. Leeroy doesn't math. ❤️
They didn't leave it off on purpose. They voted down an amendment to the act that specifically protected the right of married women to vote. In case there was ANY question of the intent.

I'm thoroughly enjoying my millionth rewatch of the West Wing. Passion and integrity over anger and retribution every time.
Leeroy's Dad coming in hot with the flowers-just-because is a great way to start a weekend. ♥️

JD Vance: wow boys, don’t be afraid to have a beer
JD Vance: "Our culture sends a message to young men that you should suppress every masculine urge ... my message to young men is don't allow this broken culture to send you a message that you're a bad person bc you're a man, bc you like to tell a joke, bc you like to have a beer with your friends."

Raskin: "Elon Musk, you may have illegally seized power over the financial payments systems of the Treasury, but you don't control the money of the American people. The US Congress does that under Article 1 of the Constitution ... we don't have a fourth branch of government called 'Elon Musk'"

The facts are, the ACA saved millions with pre-existing conditions and set standards for care.

But now, more than a decade later, with what we now know, it’s time to take the insurance companies out of the mix.
The subsidies they get are enormous. We don’t need them as middlemen.

Of all the cartoons I've seen around about what's coming up, this is the only one which has sent shivers up my spine.
Just look at it! It shows so much horror.
To the decent Americans, wishing you strength for the next 4 years.
To the rest, including the 1/3 that didn't vote, wishing you Hell 🖕🖕
its happening ... 1/20/25
