I'm no fan of Starmer, but that's not what this discussion has been about. It's been about whether it's sensible for Polanski to align himself with Corbyn. I see absolutely no up-side for the progressive left. Corbyn has his fans, but he's poison to most voters. Polanski is popular.

Yes that would be bold. To be honest, and I’m a huge fan of the wealth tax idea, I think it would be taking the piss a bit.

Pretty sure Zack has said 1% on assets over £10m and 2% on assets over £1bn.

Personally I’d go:
0.5% >£10m,
1.5% >£100m,
3% >£1bn,
5% >£10bn.
But levy it every year.

Very true. And the absolute worst thing Polanski can do now is to merge with Corbyn's latest clown-car. Not only does his new party look like bottled chaos, Corbyn isn't anywhere like the voter magnet his fans assume. My advice to the Greens: buy a long pole, and poke Corbyn away with it forever.

Next May will have a lot of elections around the UK and so we'll need to fight those. I know I wont let reform win the Senedd without a fight. Welsh people need to know we have PR, that they wont be throwing away a vote by choosing Greens.
