If your business cannot prosper without breaking the law, then it is not a business. It is organized crime.

Like those dependent on slavery, child labor, or wage theft, it should go out of business as soon as possible.

Today... a grieving widower, Jimmy, drives around London at night being tailed by a Ford Cortina. He gives it the slip but soon gets a call. It's about his dead wife. She owes them £753k. This is the 1st he'd heard of it. Not my problem says the caller.

Today... is the 11th week running of constant rain. The world had stopped coming out. It was like the pandemic & the likes of Gary were forced to deliver door to door. A posh wanker in Fitzrovia failed to tip & threatened a bad review. Soaking wet Gary knocked him out & moved in.

Today... Terry resisted Doug's invite for a pint. The bus was late & then stuck in traffic. He got off to walk the 3 miles but bumped into Doug & ended up in the pub. Hurrying home he was hit by a car. In the ambulance, blood loss was too great. He was DOA.

An interesting list for sure, Stuart. But almost exclusively English language! Intrigued by which one got nominated 4 times. 2001?

And many of the choices are watched on tv at home because it was on … so not surprising to be dominated by English language
