Today... Caroline saw Gary on the tube platform. Continuing on to work she has an abysmal day & her boss gives her time off. Back home her front door is on its hinges, neighbours are in the street & Gary is sitting in her living room with no idea where he's been for 3 years.

Today... Philip & Jenny's roleplaying started at his drinks reception. He was accosted by management bootlickers. She checked out the cheap buffet. Philip sidled up behind her. She threatened him with HR for inappropriate touching before leading him off to the disabled bathroom.

If people want to understand why American politics went bananas in 2012, the reason is that the moderate black President took a modest but consequential step toward decoupling healthcare from employment and every billionaire immediately poured their entire portfolio into race-hate media

My absolute pleasure to talk to @stuartwright.bsky.social
about the ongoing ‘crisertunity’ in the TV industry and possible ways forwards.

And what a joy to share 3 films that have impacted everything in my adult life - especially my favourite film of all time, Stanley Tucci’s ‘Big Night’!
What film best defines art vs commerce? Is it Stanley Tucci’s BIG NIGHT?

Today... Betty got Jonathan home after his retirement do. He fell asleep eating a kebab & she went to bed. In the morning she found him where she had left him. Whipping open the curtains, he didn't respond to her cheery shouts of wakey wakey. His face was ashen. He had no pulse.

There should be no left right centre now.
The choice is binary:
Progressive, Liberal Democracy & Human Rights
Vs.
Regressive, Autocracy, Kleptocracy, Theocracy & suppression of Human Rights.
That's the simple choice...there is no fence, no bridge between.

I could go on forever with this thread.

Anyway: TERFs are scientifically illiterate, ideologically hidebound idiots who have somehow captured our media and political elites, but it doesn't matter how loud they shout: reality stubbornly does not conform to their bullshit.
