A series of journal entries written by a certain researcher from the Council of Sorcery documents his observations of the Grand Sorcerer...

Previews: "Some of the Grand Sorcerer's uses of essence, while not yet fully understood, are well-documented—such as the ability to regulate altars and create contracts. It has recently come to the attention of this Council member that the Grand Sorcerer has an ability yet to be recorded: the power to use essence to create familiars.

On the 23rd of this month I visited the Grand Sorcerer's manor for the first time and made two key discoveries relevant to the research of the Council."
