When I was a medic with a 911 EMS service in rural Far West Texas, cops and Border Patrol on scene almost always made our job more difficult. When a postal worker having a stroke slowly dies in a cell while cops look on, people ask "why didn't the cops do their job" but "helping" is not their job.

— painstakingly disable AI every time they add it to something that used to work perfectly well
— if it can't be switched off, abandon the platform or tool
