After The Washington Post reported yesterday on the demolition of the "East Wing facade," a new picture obtained by #LawDork that was taken today shows that a substantial portion of the entirety of the East Wing has been demolished.
Coming up next week in Memphis. This will be a fun, informative session. We hope you'll join us 🏳️‍🌈

As Pride flag bans are coming up before local school boards (potentially Tullahoma and others), please take a look at this report. It is designed for state legislation, but many of the points are applicable to local government proposals as well 🏳️‍🌈

Bad development. Conservative activist and former collegiate swimmer Riley Gaines has been appointed to the Sumner County Library Board. But it will not stop the people of Sumner County from continuing to advocate for inclusive library collections policies 🏳️‍🌈

Anna’s out yall! Kasyn and Wesley are taking her to get some good food 🙏🏻
We were serenaded by the beautiful Emmylou Harris, Allison Russell, Joy Oladokun and a host of other entertainers.

May your spirits be lifted, encouraged, and motivated. May we build a revolution of love, built by the people, with #NoKings 🚫👑
So beautiful to see so many friends today fighting to save our democracy with Indivisible Nashville. We packed the Tennessee State Capitol, stood in solidarity with our siblings in Memphis, heard from tremendous community and faith leaders.
Need met! Anna will be bonded out shortly. We all raised it in less than 30 minutes. Thank you all so much 🙏🏻
Our friend 71 year old Anna Rae Miller Grabowski, a longtime activist, was unjustly arrested in Monroe County today at the #NoKings rally. Her husband has dementia and she is his caretaker. She was arrested for being on the interstate bridge where she had previously been given permission to stand.
She has been processed. Her bond is $5K. We need to raise $500 to pay to the bondsman. Venmo is @wesleykile21 if you can help.

It was an honor to share my #ComingOut story with everyone at Frankie J's. We all “come out” many different times to many different people in many different ways.

Instead of “choosing the right time,” choose the right people 🏳️‍🌈
A Pride (and other) flag ban has been introduced for Tullahoma City Schools. If you are in the area, please consider signing this petition 🏳️‍🌈

As far as I know, for the first time in 20 years, Cherry Poppin’ was not added to the Prime Video horror streaming list for Halloween season. I am happy to report that my acting career is long past relevancy, and I have now faded into obscurity. I exist now only in trailers. I bid you all adieu 🙏🏻
Nashville Black Pride is more important now than ever because the collective voice of queer people of color has never been more clear or more urgent.

Wishing everyone a happy and safe celebration this weekend! Say it loud! #BlackPride #QueerPride #OneLove 🏳️‍🌈 🖤

I've been thinking a lot about how we use our voices, our creative energy, to promote change. Glad for this range of videos from @tnequality.bsky.social, produced by Nashville Committee Co-Chair @sullytn.bsky.social, that help us see the many ways that can happen...

In this time, at this particular place in history, it is very important that we show love, grace and celebration of our differences to people of ALL ages WHILE supporting local independent bookstores like The Spine.
I am SO excited about this. I’ve curated 3 short books that mean a lot to me and I feel aré important for every child (and adult) to experience. This is a free community event to coincide with #NationalComingOutDay, but truly these stories are for everyone.
