Today wasn’t all bad though. I had a lovely time advocating for the LGBTQ+ community with @tnequality.bsky.social. Met with several legislators, including @brotherjones.bsky.social, @aftynbehn.bsky.social & Sen Heidi Campbell. Didn’t get a pic with Rep Jones but did get an autographed TN Blue Book!

Unfortunately HB1473, the Obergefell bill that supposedly just clarifies the law passed a House subcommittee today. The bill does NOT affect marriage licenses. Thanks to everyone who came out to oppose the bill and to Rep Harris for asking important questions about it.
