Behemoth have similar cans over the years - Lid Ripper was one of the beers. Interesting to have a canned beer that produces foam upon opening but it definitely makes sense in a Japanese beer drinking frame of mind

But sadly I can’t go see this as I’m still in Taiwan for a bit.

There is some hall for Sogetsu in Tokyo that I walked/jogged by once years ago. It was early morning else I would have tried to poke my head in to at least see if they had arrangements on display (I assume they do).

I always love the Sogetsu style. My ex-wife studied this style for ages and we had a whole room in the house in the US just for her flower arranging (and storage of pots). It was heaven compared to designing in a small company apartment

Got a flat white and my wife’s friends also. One of the best flat whites I‘ve had - and that includes many in Melbourne as well. The milk in Taiwan is a bit different level of sweetness from NZ but they did a perfect job on the silky smoothness, great espresso. Only complaint - a bit too much milk.

What is this espresso machine? Dual lever machine. Out to eat at a Zhejiang cuisine restaurant in Taipei with my wife and they have this amazing machine. Might need to order a coffee just to see how it tastes from this beauty

I’m off to Taiwan in a couple days. Was planning to logout of social networks while I’m there but decided to get a head start. Honestly I’m also going to try to avoid regular news as well. Hopefully China doesn’t try to take China while I’m there - or while my wife is there until the end of November

I’m on a flight to Taipei on Tuesday. Will see how it goes. Went to see mom in Chicago, via LA, in May and AirNZ was “OK” and much better than the US domestic leg. But it is not like it was when Fyfe was boss. And the whole world is different now I guess.
