Absolutely. Between the building and any single person, let alone large groups, the building can go down for all I care.

It's just that it's really easy to understand that this is a massive overstep, and anyone who doesn't understand yet needs it to be really, REALLY simple.

Same. But also I think it's getting traction because people can't pretend it's a threat he won't follow through with, or one of his "exaggerations", or happening to people who deserve it so it's fine, or paid protesters, etc.

You can take a picture of and show even the most underinfomred people.

I had Lyme disease attack my brain. Things definitely aren't right in there. The low grade dizzy is nearly constant, which makes it super difficult to identify migraines, low blood sugar, heck, even being hungry. My body is just slamming the dizzy distress beckon and I'm just like: ??? Is normal???

Btw this conversation made me realize I also have a migraine. Such sneaky little horrors. The more the migraine migraines the harder it is to tell a migraine is migraining.
I get really brain foggy and confused with migraines. I have juuuust enough of one to make it hard to tell I have one.😑

The place where I first started having migraine auras was also skunk heavy, making life even more confusing. Particularly as I had a little dog who would definitely try to fight a skunk if she found one, so I was often not sure if I should let her out or not. Fortunately we never got skunked.

Yes, yes it is. Smells can be part of the migraine aura. What I want to know is why it's never cinnamon rolls or something. The closest thing I've ever heard to a pleasant migraine smell is the wet mulch, and that's just because I'm a garden weirdo who loves mulch.

I have phantom smells with migraines sometimes. Unfortunately usually skunk. My sister gets wet mulch. My migraines are often vestibular migraines that are vertigo and brain fog with very little or no pain, so it took me years to realize they were migraines.

One of the accounts I've been following since way before the collapse of twitter has a very distinctive icon & posting style. They recently changed the icon for the 1st time & it was like Invasion of the Body snatchers.

Why? Why can't we save everyone? Why is that the premise you build on?

Why not fight for everyone? How long is your list of those you're willing to leave behind? If the candidate gets worse does your list grow? Is there a line where you say, whoa, that's too many?

The tropical potted plants and citrus are cosy inside for the winter. So begins the season of them scaring the stuffing out of me every night as they pout by dropping leaves into the hardwood floor.

My house now smells quite funky & the fermenting hasn't even begun😅. I've got 2 jars of assorted smoked garden peppers going, & one of these aji mangos. Coring the little aji peppers is taking forever & the house is...zesty. So far I have not gotten pepper juice on my face though, so it's a win.

Are they sorry their groceries are more expensive & they could lose healthcare? Good, that's a start.

But if they're not sorry marginalized people are being attacked & losing rights they can find somewhere else to be.

Today is garden pepper fermentation day! (If nothing goes terribly wrong)

Wish me luck. My body is an absolute wuss about spice even if I like it, and somehow pepper juice always gets around my glasses. Might find a face shield and treat the really spicy ones like little bombs, for I am mayo hued.

Yes, yes it is. I was hired to decorate cakes at a Walmart while visibly disabled using a cane. Not allowed to sit. I had to quit.

I think it stems from the idea that service workers are SERVANTS, who are inferior & naturally lazy. Waaaay too many people want to be Served, not to shop.

I agree and I live in the U.S. The average person here is doing all they know how to. Our neighbors need to support us by refusing to support our big business as much as possible. The only language the people running the place know is money. If you can avoid giving U.S. oligarchs money, do it.

-marginalized community is inherently thoughtless & cruel, implying that community lies on the outside of humanity and can't be considered in day to day thoughts meant to include everyone. Such ideas do not end where that specific statement ends. These sentiments poison society & isolate minorities.

The "shopping cart limus test" is ableist.

Many times when I was still healthy enough to shop by myself I could not physically make it to put the cart back, as the return is often far from the handicap parking.

Halloween decorations are running a little late because of the usual series of bad health and unfortunate events, but they're coming. Doof needs another round of glow paint. Perry, Balloony are already cut out and primed, and an inator is on the way.
