Been not really feeling like myself lately. Not exactly sure why but I think there may be a connection to a string of failed or MIA games projects I have been working on. I dunno.
What have people been making/enjoying? Feelin' a bit outta the loop (almost 100% dnd at the place I've been hanging).

Yes, for sure. Games (especially ttrpgs) are physical and verbal things as much as textual. Trying to move between mediums can be the hardest part, but things like examples and easily referencable handouts can help with the translation.

Giving Necromunda an honest try and I'm having a lot of fun putting tiny posters on walls. Terrain is mostly done at this point, and then I'm moving on to models!

Two Hivecity gangers are in stand-off in front of a (for my personal effort) nicely painted hive-wall with glowing lights, little posters, and some other textured details.

Been playing FF14 again and I've been wondering if its incredibly slow pace is what makes it playable for hours on end.
Like, if I play two hours of Helldivers 2 I'm exhausted. A round of Nightreign (45 mins) where you lose at the very end? Disastrous.
Four hours of FF14? Barely made progress in MSQ

There's something weird about having to fill out a medical form that's like "No, there is no metal in me." What if I have secret metal? Metal no one told me. Do *you* know, doctor, if I have any metal in me because I would like to know.

I've been playing "The Roottrees are Dead" and while the original content was good and fulfilling for my detective brain, Roottreemania makes you *really* work for those clue-trails. Very good so far!
