there's so much swirling in my brain about this specific topic, and maybe when my head's a little clearer, I can articulate it better. but it's not JUST the nostalgia that people reach for physical media for. its also in act to reclaim what capitalism took from us.

there's something to be said about the return to analog, and in some ways, it's an act of resistance. rejecting the expectation of modern tech's hold on entertainment and putting ownership back in your hands.
