But where im not pessimistic is that I think eventually everything in tech will be FOSS (could take decades)
it's the only thing that will stand against the perverse effect of capitalism....it will take time but I truly think its inevitable!
just look at Blender, godot, Linux,...

Totally! But if a player doesnt care for that, our game is not the best for them! Another simpler, more minimalist picross (like Jupiter’s) would be better

Again, I see your point, but this is how we want the game to feel, and these little celebration moments are important to us! They give you a rest between puzzles. Every game is different, and it seemed that the overwhelming majority of players enjoyed this un squeakross! We can’t please everyone 😔
