Uh...I wanted to do some warm-up writing before getting into novel pages, so I started a flash story. But it's been two hours and I'm still on the 'flash' story. No work done on the novel.

Sunk cost kicks in because I should finish a 'flash' piece in one sitting.

My own petard, I tell you.

(Although the cynic in me thinks they've seen the tea leaves about copyright and the bubble and basically that people think AI imagery and writing is shite. They could have declared this ages ago)

Both DC and Marvel have expressed that gen AI has no place in their comic books.

That’s significant.

I hope they go further and enshroud that in contracts if they haven’t already. #CreateDontScrape
