it would make sense for gen 10, and there's clearly a lot of details that point to the same infinity energy of mega evolution to be related to not just stellar energy and z-crystals but also dynamax being an alt form of it, I wonder if Z-A will give us any indication of this being the case

even if he's unovian there's that hint to gen 7 I mentioned again
if the next game doesn't feature him or his technology I'd be surprised, we could even be seeing a soft reboot for all major gimmicks to be reworked into something new to allow for them to exist in a new form simultaneously

so in pokemon champions we have a ring that somehow can hold mega, z-power, dynamax and terastal energy, with a peculiar Aether-ish color scheme, Colress was last seen working with them, and he's probably the only person who could create a device like this in canon...
