there was also a capri fandom revival around 2020 where ig more people had time to pick the books up during the initial covid lockdown! but since moving away from twitter I lost contact with a lot of capri-twitter 🥀

the name pronunciation discourse (from what i saw) was like playful jabs at each other for having different interpretations 😂 for example i think most people say "lauren+t" but others say "low-rawnt" like the brand name!

👀 I must have a listen to it. in all honesty I shied away from podficcing capri stuff bc i find that capri fans have a particular preference for how the names are pronounced, particularly for laurent. 😂

cancelling Disney+ and Hulu is well and good but it’s not a huge hit on an individual level

Heard from a friend at Disney+ that there are multiple levels of freakout internally, both from internal dissatisfaction, concerns about subscription cancelations, and of course the big one: concern about a boycott spilling over into parks and cruises.
