They’re mostly on separate drives from the OS. I’m wondering how much work I’d need to do if I switched OS, would I just be able to install steam and play or would I need to redownload them all or something.

I want to give you benefit of doubt, but the fact you say use the word “slaughtered” but then talk about disease, and not how religion was used as an excuse to kill rape and pillage, makes it hard to think you’re arguing in good faith.

And to go allllll the way back to the original argument… regardless of how “moral” the religion is, it doesn’t mean they should’ve been slaughtered.

I see what you’re trying to say, that capital G God is merciful and “morally” better, but this all runs right back into the original issue.

Many polytheistic deities are aspects of the world. “God”, to me, feels like a people’s desire to give *everything* a single face, and have it be “good”.

Like yes, killing people is bad. But with a sacrifice, it’s usually done because there is no greater way to worship. Christianity even has its own stories of sacrifice: Isaac and his father, then Jesus.

But just because Christianity has “less” sacrifice doesn’t clean the blood off its hands.

I feel like even if sacrifice and murder both end with a dead body, at least the sacrifice had a believed beneficial purpose.

As opposed to the many actual murders of Christianity. Like killing these people for not believing in a deity that despite being omniscient, couldn’t go over the ocean.

To clarify, I don’t believe any religion is “inferior”. Each religion is a product of people observing the world and building on what they see with their own beliefs and traditions.

Hard to compare deities of one religion to another because they’re not *meant* to be compared like trading cards.

Well I mean yea, when you have a deity that is just all things everything all the time Omni-omni-omni etc, any deity that is aspects of nature is “inferior”

But this is real life, not comic power-scaling competition. Justifying the murder of millions because of “inferior” religion is still genocide

The all time peak of *steam itself* is only 40 million.

That said battlefield 6 has the 14th highest all time player count on steam, beating out 2042’s open beta (which was free) by almost 100 points (it had 156k, sitting at 113th place of player count)

Fun fact, only 8 games broke 1 million.

if you feel it's messing you up, step away. don't assume it's messing everyone up and you need to eradicate it because you caught a case of the feel-bads from something. go sit with that and think about why instead of pissing in everyone else's cheerios.
