Yeah I was assembling one of the legs after doing a bunch of comm work and uh. I have no idea how on earth I'm even supposed to disassemble it let alone paint it. The intricacies of how the entire kit is built up is frankly ridiculous. Ingenious but ridiculous.

Insanely good colour separation but probably going to be a fucking nightmare to paint if I'm being honest. Almost entirely due to how interestingly and smartly engineered it is. Moderoid continues to be way better at being action figures than plamo, which isn't a bad thing.

Dita is such a genuinely weird and unique design, I love it.

Also even just at the torso, the most complex and interesting Moderoid yet. Fantastic engineering in the hips to retain the look of translucent orbs making up many of the joints in the show.

Really is the best game ever made. Gonna miss these guys something fierce. Hope they find a safe home somewhere in the stars. They deserve a rest after those 15 years of fighting.

Two couples had a kid each, raised on the ship. One of them had a child that they raised on the station as it was being built following the mechhive defeat. Many limbs lost but never a comrade taken from them.

Yeah I'm not topping this one for a long, long time. Most fun playthrough I've ever done and I have no idea how I'm going to even attempt to live up to the scale that this one ended at. Odyssey really is just a class above, especially with the mods that came out since release.

It's still just a Voyager class but DAMN he's gorgeous. Platonic ideal of an Optimus headsculpt, same tier as the original Big Convoy.

Only issue with this guy is Legends price point but no Sakamoto manga...

I almost lost this as it was scheduled to ship the week the postal strike happened, but thankfully hobbygenki was able to switch me off of EMS. So I actually got my Phoenix Gundam :)

Love that it's so slavishly the original lineart proportions from the 90s. Cannot tell you how many hours I put into G Gen back in the day and finally having a proper figure of it makes me so happy. Difficult to pose with the wing binders, but it looks fantastic due to how articulated the wings are.

Consistently impressed with how tight and fun RDs are, especially when something with this much mass hinging on the shoulders alone. Hallmark of this entire line for me really is that too, just that they're all really fun. Even moreso with the transformation gimmick.

Very specific annoyance of knowing that the Zeta and Nu RDs are cheap but incredibly rarely available for some reason despite there being Metal RD and METAL BUILD versions available?? And Grendizer it's more that I'm competing with the entire nation of Italy for decent prices on that last SOC.

I know I keep talking about it but this engineering is just unthinkably smart. A toy with another toy inside of it shouldn't have hips and shoulders this functional. It shouldn't be able to have a torso swivel or a crunch. But it does and it looks fantastic. I can't get over it.

More annoying knowing that the reason these go for over 130 or so aftermarket is because there's a bunch of gen xers who remember Gobots but have no connection to MR...

That and it does drive me nuts how the entire nosecone of Jet comes off. Especially when the Pose+ Jim is perfect transformation.

Mmm. Now looking at the old Action Toys Blue Jet and Rod Drill and questioning if it's worth tracking those boys down, or should I simply trust that Pose+ will eventually release that Triple Jim/Lena they showed off in 2023 and subsequently get to those two dudes...
