Solas and his followers, the Qunari wanting another invasion, the stuff with the Titans, the Tevinteer imperium in itself would all be cool adventures by itself!

You can even add more stuff like Morigan's son, the awakened Darkspawn, the rebel Qunari, the Avaar, Hawke's crew.

Which is why I think the best way to follow on the plot threads that were stabilished up to Inquisition and Treppasser would be in games in the scale of these medium sized adventures because these plot points are good by themselves!

And the war is way too big for someone like the Hero of Ferelden or Hawke to handle, they aren't world heroes, they are local people and the series is better for that I feel.

Which is an issue I have with Inquisition and Veilguard. I feel the savior of the world stuff doesn't fit the series.

You get to save a city and this cool fortress, handle inteligent Darkspawn that can talk to you! It's cool stuff!

The same happens with DA2. You aren't saving the world you are saving a city state. You are the Champion of Kirkwall. You don't even get to stop the Mage Templar war.

You get to know different parts of this country, it's history, it's people, it's MANY problems. You end up gettin enamored with it.

That's why Awekening was such a cool expansion! It's another medium sized adventure! You ain't saving the world, you are at most saving a county.

They are all small adventures that compose this bigger whole about saving Ferelden. You are doing errant knight shit, going around help others and hey you manage to save the land.

You aren't the saviour of the world. You are the Hero of Ferelden. That's it.
But that shit is charming.

"But Tangled, Origins was literaly about saving a country." Yeah. Not the world, just some fuck ass country nobody but the people in there cares about.

And here's the thing, in Origins you have small adventures composing the whole thing. Redclif, the Urn of Sacrad Ashes, the dwarf city, the elves.

Going to go on a rant about Dragon Age but before I do so please understand that... I just don't care about Veilguard.
So here's the thing, I think DA is at it's best when it deals with what I call "Medium sized adventures." And that's kinda how Origins went and that was the whole thing with 2.

Yeah I notice this too. I only make yuri but I feel that many followed me for my more slice of life stuff they don't care much for my more melancholic or cyberpunk work, which is the majority of what I make.

Shame, and I'm glad that they like some of my work but shame none the less.

Mafty has a lot of popular support as they execute quality politicians like Minister Heathrow, who used slave labor to poach lumber then hired armed goons to shoot the slaves after they loaded the illegal logs.

Unicorn dipped a little into the sheer evil of Anaheim Electronics and Hathaway 1 made a teeny mention of it but so far, Gundam hasn’t been all that great about the corpo side of fascism. WfM dropped this ball like it was made of lava. What a failure there.
