This just dropped, Marchebranche, the French game that Thomas Munier wrote and that I illustrated won « best indy game 2024 » of the French RPG awards. It is a nice surprise, thanks to Dystopia for the great work they did on the book (especially Laure who did the layout) It was good teamwork. :3
OrbitalMega playtest session was fun but I now feel again that my game is an overcomplicated mess. Some days I really regret having started that project. 🤦♀️

The only thing that prevent me from playing the Kolb games (Neverland, Oz, Wonderland) is that there is no 5e characters creation kit that match those settings. I don't want to send elves, halfling and rangers into these books. When I ran Oz, we did some reskinning but meh was not very satisfying.

Blame the movie (something watchable but deeply flawed for me): I liked the focus on the Electro Fishers settlement and community. I think it would have been better without Killy or if they had restored him and he had just left. If you don’t do the structure trekking, dont use or focus on Killy.

Today I am working on the housing and hospitality rules for Orbital Mega. Characters start with a small house in their settlement that they can take care of and upgrade. :3

Yeah the whole AEG thing been really depressing even if we already knew that every CEO or even producers are detrimental to what they manage. Now they have a new tool to make things worse and to enshitfy everything under their management. And they have a real hard on for that enshification tool.
Reposting with ALT because this kind of phenomenal disdain and disrespect from within the industry literally against two of their own titles and the designer who made them is important to recognize.
