Sorry. My brain tends to go off in all different directions at once and make connections of seemingly unrelated stuff. But I think it’s very much related if they use the bsky to even spy on non-Americans who dare to have an opinion against and call US gov out for being fascists etc.

I’m European, but ok…DONE!
Unfortunately the US’s track record of meddling in other countries’ affairs and doing covert ops and sh1t hasn’t been great throughout history. And bsky being a global platform I don’t appreciate being harassed by these mofos. Also, not trusting bsky CEO at this point.

We went to Bandung, West Java (Sunda), Indonesia for a few days. One of the places we visited was Galeri Seomardja at Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB). ITB is like the Cambridge/Oxford of Indonesia.

These were my favourite paintings.The first landscape image has dynamic brush strokes,which I love.

This is where I respectfully disagree. I am not using any genAI “slot machine” myself. (The example in my post was already there). My reasoning is: How can I expect to be compensated, respected, and supported if I don’t return the same courtesy to fellow creatives but steal from them using AI?

Hmmm, I can see tour point.

I use nightshade and despite how long the poison render takes, I think it’s still worth it (for as long as it works). If they gobble up my art stuff they may as well suffer for it. The Antidote measure is said to be still limited/ not sufficient. 🤞🏼

Fantastic! I love that. Is there a movement of artists/ designers that basically rework slop? If so, I’d like to be part of it.

Currently working on illustrating for playlist cover art making an actual retro spaceship console from a slop example. (I am actually nearly done with the console).

If you experience thus #YoutubeDown issue whereby videos your selected don’t play, try restarting your device. Seems like the world (incl myself) seems to have forgotten about the no1 troubleshoot. (Thanks to OH for reminding me!). Try it and I hope it helps.

The completed painting of “The Guardian” an Ammonite that guards a sunk temple dedicated to the beautiful and sacred Soft Coral and Hard Coral in the oceans of Exoplanet Centauri Proxima B. The Ammonite is massive and its ringed shell is bright colors of (pinks, purples, yellows, sienna, burnt umbers and grays) colors reflecting the colors of the coral and surrounding topography.

Middle phase WIP of “The Guardian” colors are kept in high key knowing that at the ending pass of color will be glazing a Turquoise Blue color. Color palette used as follows: Titanium White, Bismuth Vanadate Yellow, Quinacridone Violet, Burnt Umber, Medium Grey, Phthalo Blue and Paynes Grey.

The Grisaille of “The Guardian” grey scale ranging from 1 thru 10. Grey Scale Pallet used: Titanium White, Davy’s Grey and Paynes Grey.

Oh yes, he also designed the Tron title typeface, hand lettered.

The late Moebious was also involved. I am guessing in some character/ costume design.

What was remarkable was that Tron was marketed as CGI but actually little CGI was involved the making.

Now, the problem I now feel with TL is that it didn’t do right by the titular character and thus Bruce Boxleitner. It felt more like “Sideshow Tron” in terms of the story. He got 3 lines! 3! In the entire movie! (Not counting the fee sentences Allan got). So Ares loses on that front already. 😐😬2/2

With that said, I did like TRON Legacy when it came out and still enjoy the visuals. So much so, that I attempted bridging Classic TRON and TL in this Christmas poster/card. I would like to paint something akin to classic Tron this time. Not sure Ares red visuals inspire me as much. 1/2
