I'm not great with heights but not awful.

I had serious vertigo and anxiety up there - even in the seat I felt like I had to hold on.

My wife did just fine and friends who went with us were bothered but less-so than I was.
Ya.

Try going to the Sphere in Vegas...wew is that seating steep and nauseating.

Wicked cool but I'd be hard pressed to get any mid or upper seats again despite it being an (arguably) better view.
Only because of where we view it from now.

No telling what's in the future and the vast majority of the past was darkness.

All Things Must Pass, but some faster than we'd like and some that seem to last forever.
Yes, and I'm not sure it's getting any better.
There are many -decent- political parties.

There may be few excellent ones, and decent in both senses of the word may not apply.
Here's a letter: Stop helping Republicans pass heinous crypto bills.

Crypto is and has always been scam country and Healthcare takes this all on the nose in the form of ransomware cybercrime.
Yeah, good job building tension but awful at resolving it.
The end was so weak.

After the first perspective shift I thought we might be in for a relatively limited conclusion but I didn't think the first act basically covered the full plot.

@zohrankmamdani is a deeply thoughtful human being and we think he would make the best NYC mayor imaginable. We feel this as New Yorkers, as Jews and as human beings who are desperate for kindness, compassion and empathy to be represented in our politics.

I'm not offended; I'm definitely annoying.

I'd even have been less bothered by the post if it were explicitly calling me annoying than calling any group of people annoying based on their race and gender.

That's categorically a different thing & whether it applies to me or not doesn't change that.
What is "always" in her post doing there then?
I can't prove her point. That would take all white dudes on the site.
People can and will advocate for themselves however they prefer.

You won't get a blank check on any sort of advocacy from the public.

From Marijuana legalization, to abortion, to gay rights, to Healthcare reform, etc. finding effective ways to advocate that will increase net support is critical.
I'm entirely willing to concede that I'm being annoying.

Hard to argue that one!

Beauty - or annoyance - is in the eye of the beholder.

I'm not willing to concede that white dudes are universally annoying.

Every human takes their turn being irritating; racial bias doesn't need to enter into it.
No, it applied to me from the start as a white dude on here.

I've proved her right in this instance, but that's fine by me as being 'annoying' aka disagreeable is a lower concern to me.

My point about the rejection of racial bias is what initiated this.
Sure, I'm being "irritating" or "annoying" here.

It -is- me in this instance, but I'm fine with people calling me individually annoying but don't think blanket statements like that really have any place.

Even positive ones are expressions of racial bias. "Green women are pretty."
Personal guilt around on your conscience!? That's some spicy and not tremendous sausage to toss and just an assumption on your end.

I'm perfectly fine with someone calling me, personally, annoying.

I'm not ok with racial bias directed at anyone.
Racism is not exclusively systemic and it's wild that you think it is.

While there's as you mentioned plenty of examples of systemic racism, there's no shortage of interpersonal racism as well between individuals or groups smaller than these enormous systems and that extends to all.
I don't care about engagement. Why would I?

I announced the unfollow as feedback that could be taken or ignored, that's her prerogative.

She can use her platform however she prefers but the platform is for posting your takes and my 2c is that lazily prejudice should be discouraged.
I just don't like to see unabashedly prejudicial comments posted for yucks. Real Annoying - I know.

I don't think it's pedantry, I think it's a useful self-check that everyone needs from time to time.

But thank you and I'm perfectly fine with you calling me specifically annoying.
Sort of splitting hairs there, but sure.

And I agree with the general sentiment; No MAGA without white dudes.

Measure it with a "some" or even "a lot of" or even something temporal like "recently".

Declaring it in broad terms without a scope and it's just a lazy prejudicial racist view.
If someone I followed had posted "Black girls are annoying" that'd have illicited the same response from me.

Lazy racism is lazy racism regardless of where you point it.
