I keep my wishlist in BGStats which has a ranking system for wishlist, graded from "thinking about it" to "must have". Games start at the lowest level, often there so I'll research them more, & then go up or off the list. Sometimes they go up "like to have" or "love to have" then back down😆

I've played it when I got wonderful casual guests & I've had times, much worse than today, when it seemed like every appalling guest made their way into my hand😆

Are you using the app or have you also logged into the website? The website has more features! I confess, I mostly use the app, but the website is awesome, and you should definitely check it out if you haven't. You can mark observations in greater detail (like stage of growth, fruit, larvae, etc)

These casual guests in Obsession. I dread the draw from that deck and always breathe a sigh of relief when it's not bad. Today wasn't the worst, but it looked like I was going to get stuck with the -4 pts, but I dismissed that guest🎉 and on the same turn drew the -2 guest🤦‍♀️ Sigh. #boardgames

I got into modern boardgames a few years before the pandemic then really went into it 2020 and beyond. Had to try a bit of everything to see what we liked...and also what would actually get played🙄 Every year I get more selective about games I buy.

A lot of things go on and off my wishlist in your category of "curious and didn't want to forget about it". I'll load up my wishlist with games I want to research then wipe out most of them. As it happens my wishlist is at an all time low right now.

Interesting list! Although I feel very out of step: I own 4 of them and none of the others are on my wishlist🤷‍♀️ Which isn't to say I might not impulse purchase some in the future; there's several I'd like to play, but possibly aren't a good fit for our collection of games. #boardgames

Though I usually drink tea, a maple latte on the patio of a local coffee house on an autumn day after a walk in the park with my #chihuahua is kind of perfect. Besides this big hit of caffeine will serve me well in the first boardgame of the day😆
