i feel like this isn't unhinged enough but idk what do you want from me? i hate psychoanalysis? fitzgerald sucks? most people don't have graphic novel literacy despite saying it "isn't reading"? it's ok to throw away books (tho recycle if possible)?
not in an "i don't have the attention span" way but like in an editors are good and you need to use them way. all of these 500 pg SFF books could be 200.
books are too damn long these days.
Tell me your most unhinged literary opinion, as a little treat

my friend was carjacked and her car was totaled, and she desperately needs to buy a new car to make it to work and classes to finish her degree! if you are able or if you hate insurance companies, please consider donating and sharing: gofund.me/2396793ec
Graphic showing a young blonde woman and the headline "Help Sammy buy a car after a carjacker totaled..." 2,230 to goal.

it would be a cool research project to compare the tone and content of the different master box sets (especially concerning missy). like i'm not doing it but there's a free idea. copyright donna noble.

The best part of Harlan Ellison's Doctor Who essay is that Pinnacle Books censored one line and one line only of Harlan's submitted draft dated Nov. 1, 1978. A dig at Anita Bryant at the height of her pernicious political influence in the States.

We’ve been out of Class since 2016.
anyways is dwtwt still starting drama on sundays and school holidays bc they're bored when they're out of class
but it's frustrating to see paraphrases of dialogue in the same order to the same end. it feels disingenuous, perhaps ironically. but of course i won't say anything, just feel bad about it and bad for feeling bad about it.
we're kind of always bouncing off each other as fic writers anyways, it's a community thing. remixes can be very fun and creative. and i LOVE that dynamic when it's supportive. it's one of the best things about fic, to feel like you're sharing in the creation of something.
except, upon reading, often their fic is just a paraphrased mash of my fic & others'. very little originality.

now, i allow remixes in my BPS. and it feels hypocritical to care when it's fic; hell, the last two fics i posted interpolate canon dialogue well past the point of recognition (lol).
posting here bc i don't want people to know who i'm talking about or shame them:
i posted a multichap fic and had someone leave several comments and tell me it inspired their writing. ofc i was encouraging, referred to my blanket permission statement, & they listed it as an inspo for their longfic.

A Doctor Who pure-historical where the TARDIS breaks down in 1750 BC Mesopotamia; luckily, it’s actually a really simple part to fix as long as they can find someone to sell them some good quality Sumerian copper.
LOL i don't blame you!!
you know we're on a hiatus when they announce they're finally releasing the series 10 soundtrack
feeling validated, also exhausted
the best thing about studying the 80s as a period of history is making people feel old 💜💜💜
someone at work asked what my focus was when i was in academia and then said "oh! you could do a lot with that and doctor who, i remember watching it in the 80s."

oh. YES. indeed. 😊
my fiancé almost got electrocuted at work today and i was like "wow you're just like sophie aldred!"
how many rimon have you eaten today
