Some updated background info for my fursona:

Televassi is a wolf who hails from forests of the north. Equal parts warrior and skald, they wander the great contintent in search of glory, gold, and inspiration for a good tale to tell.

That said, the other thing is I generally feel my fursona is just too different and weird compared to the norm and trend of popular stuff here.
televassi.bsky.social
Among other things, that's what these sites do. Break things down into tiny chunks, and draw attention to only the most engaging nuggets. I don't want my fursona, art, writing, to be crushed up by these places.
televassi.bsky.social
And it's not a case of one platform or another. I don't really feel comfortable with *any* social media platform, because it eviscerates any larger view of a person, character, or art, into brief post-sized glimpses you may or may not see.
televassi.bsky.social
Sometimes, I want to post the art I get here (including the adult stuff), but then I think about it and feel otherwise. I dislike how so many online furry spaces increasingly are sucked into some flavour of social media platform.

I suppose the reason I'm not so enthusiastic about Halloween is squarely down to the fact I prefer to be witchy all year round.

Sipping on my morning coffee, looking out the window at the turning leaves, the autumn sun, and hearing the robins still singing away.

Thinking a lot about the twists and turns of life, where things lead, and the folks I've lost contact with for one reason or another.

It's still early days, but in feeling pretty good at times about this novel. I'm learning to realise that bigger projects really suit what I want to do.

Did this one up awhile ago but here is Adea's character sketch

She's got a bubbly and chatty personality and makes friends easily. She loves to collect beautiful things and everything she does has her own personal flair added.

I'm beyond thrilled to announce the release of my novel, Gravitational Pull!

Writing this book was a labor of love, and I can honestly say that it's changed my life for the better. I hope that you all enjoy it <3

Things might be working out for Skyler, but our pasts are never far behind us. As his ongoing struggles cast shadows over his relationship, he is going to have to solve who he is before finding who he wants to be. Get "Gravitational Pull" by @tyfoxface.bsky.social at bewere.net/product.php?...

Can we go back to silly hopes about the future being one where we can be turned into our fursonas through tech advances? That'd be sweet.

2015: Gets involved in furry so they have a social life outside of work colleagues.

2025: Furry offers probably the last bastion of community outside of the AI slop and bot sea.

2035? Retreats to the woods to embrace the dying embers of nature?

🐺🎃 Werewolf posting month. Show off your big scary doggies! 🎃🐺

A werewolf Ben leaning over the viewer, chains attached to his arms and legs. He is looking down hungrily and has a giant dick.

Yeah, I definitely agree. Figuring out what you want to do in a day or at a given time helps give that sense of satisfaction when it comes to the end of the day and wondering what you've done.

Random late night thought - I probably should look to see about whether some of the furry writing podcasts would be interested in some of my short fiction. I'm just so out of the loop with the writing community.

Just trying to be alert to how much I get bombarded by external things is an eye opener that there's a definite lack of agency in some aspects of modern life, and really how I need to have some good barriers to process it all, rather than just let it all hit whenever.
televassi.bsky.social
It's a bit of a jumbled thought, but I'm finding that the more I set out to do things purposefully and with intent, the better the results for me in both wellbeing and productivity. It's just about getting some control back, rather than be thrown about on the tides of the attention economy.
televassi.bsky.social
... the bar is set pretty high, and frankly yes, it's mostly the small indie devs that are pushing the medium forward and coming up with new and exciting works.

I still play Age of Empires 2 plenty!

I think a lot of good games have become classics, a bit like good books. You can still play and enjoy them today, and there's something fresh and timeless in them. And now that there are so many games out there competing for our time and attention...

I saw this before going to sleep last night, but yes, absolutely. I remember reading something about this elsewhere, and while I can't remember the finer details of the point, it was that yes, being bored can be important especially these days with constant notifications.
