Summer and Terry were both diagnosed with osteosarcoma as young adults. Thanks to advances in research, Summer did not lose her leg, and if her cancer returns, her oncology team has another option to fight it: precision medicine.

The @terryfoxresearch.bsky.social @marathonofhope.bsky.social cancer centres network has now processed over 10,000 patient genomic profiles, with over 5,300 complete clinical data sets, and now comprises 50 member institutions. A truly national effort inspired by an inspirational Canadian. 🇨🇦 🤯

Marathon of Hope Cancer Centres Network - 10,192 full genomic profiles, 5,381 completed with cloinical data, 50 member institutions and 38 early career investigators funded.
