When it will be 25 & you forgot to pack your umbrella to use as a parasol. And your bus was late, so you missed your train.

Still plan to experiment today, unless I lose my nerve from being too frazzled.

Will need luck 😉

At which age do you become a "cougar"? Saw a 34-year-old on Ivy Societe call herself that, and now 39-year-old me feels ancient.

(Most - all except 4 - of my dalliances have been with people younger than me. I am so old.)

I've only just managed to wrap my head around the concept of "connection" & identify it. So I have more to learn!

So what do "compatibility" & "chemistry" mean to you?

I remember being told that my autoimmune hepatitis is "rare" by medical standards. ("European studies suggest that between .010% and 0.25% of the European population is affected." --Cleveland Clinic.)

Being a Special Snowflake in two different conditions is overrated.

Even when writing about female pleasure, people pretty much always forget/neglect to mention that inability/disability to O at all is a thing that exists.

I think of the GP and gynaecologist, neither of whom had heard of PSSD when I mentioned it to them. Because they only deal with what's common and "normal".

I've come to terms with the condition myself.

What I still haven't come to terms with is feeling forgotten. (Obviously my craving for external validation is sabotaging my self-esteem again.)

Why do I know more about my Scottish heritage (only a quarter of me) than I do of my Irish (half)?

I mean... I'm a fecking gobshite, so I suppose that's as Irish as I get.

Also, why did my dead ancestors get to have fun accents, and I'm stuck with this bogan monstrosity? Not fair!

Pet peeve: When providers caption photos on their social media with stuff like, "Thinking of you..."

Mate, there is no way you're thinking of me, because you don't even know I exist.

I wouldn't say it's a red flag, but I'd be hesitant about a provider whose profile in the listing directory doesn't include specific acts. The site provides options - I imagine someone just has to select which ones when creating their profile.

Don't make potential clients have to ask you what things you're actually willing to do. Have a ready list on the site so they can choose and tell you exactly what they want. This way you're on the same page.

(It can get confusing when it says "on me" or "on you", so I clarify in my booking enquiry by writing "on me - the client". And I manually write "fngring", because "h*nd job" is a term specifically associated with blokes, and I don't know if it counts. Also with women providers, you have to check about or*l, in case they're willing to do it on a bloke but not on a woman.)

I mentioned in an earlier slide about the power I have in the industry because I pay people. (The other day I saw a note about clients being part of the backbone of the industry.)

Obviously not my only power. I'm cis, so I have power above anyone trans or enby. I'm white, so I have power over BIPOC. I can possibly pass for non-disabled, so I have power above those who can't pass. I may have power over those younger or older than me, but I'm not sure.

No matter how minor I feel at time (like when I remember there's no client advocacy group, so there's not anywhere to turn for advice regarding that, so I'm going it alone), I know I have power and privilege. I'm in a very fortunate position. I don't take it lightly.

It also taught me that it's not a good idea to have people with opposite traits within earshot of each other.

I'm a sound-sensitive autistic who hates unnecessary (to me) noise. Hearing that over and over sparked an autistic meltdown (silently crying - identical to my depression flare-ups).

It was a good thing I got my own room (including bathroom) in the ward (with no private insurance, in a public hospital) - in case my silent crying triggered someone else's meltdown.

"Shoes off at a cinema to be comfortable: a good idea?"

Haven't been to the cinema since I saw...Crazy Rich Asians, I think. (Wow, that was a long time ago!)

Keep your shoes on. Unless you can slide them off... If it's dark enough, and you keep your feet to yourself, no one should know...

Tuesday…. What’s happening in the industry, how’s everybody going? What about the jump in prices in Lustia? Wow I mean seriously … I think it’s basically quadrupled! I’m out. That’s crazy.
