I, too, thought that the new series might be revealed in the next week or two: this being the time of year when BWBA and AEG were formally revealed.

Similar to Spotless' HC. Maybe Barry - seeking to avoid a return to the scrapyard - would ask steam engines if he can take their trains, and outright steal trains from diesels. Until he sees sense (or is taught too - maybe a role for BoCo...)

I feel you can really see David Mitton's past experience in TV (especially the lack of realism) come to the fore in that script. I almost lost count of the number of lightning strikes lol.

Percy's Fireman is literally the only crew member in Season 2 to make music/sing too (AFAIK), no way this is a coincidence.
