There might be more to this than I know of or meets the eye, and maybe the crew later apologised to Brenner.

On this day in 1991 "Thomas Gets Bumped" premiered on TV although it was first released on VHS on 11th November 1991
This marked the first episode to be adapted from one of Andrew Brenners magazine stories. This was also the first not to be adapted from an Awdry story

You won't believe what I'm about to say, but I just watched this famous story by Michael Evans in it's 3-part entirety for the first time ever. It's been out for 14 years and I've only now just watched it properly.

A set of six photographs from the production of series 4 recently came up on eBay, and I'm glad to say I was able to get them.
These are quite scratched at the edges, which would take weeks to fix, but are in otherwise great condition and colour corrected well. Enjoy!

Worth noting why so much production has moved location in recent decades: to give workers worse pay and conditions. It might not apply here, though it could do, and definitely does in other cases.
That's on top of the environmental damage from production.

So for those of you who haven't seen the news yet, Case C of the 2025/2026 Motorized engines will contain these characters. Unfortunately, theres no Flying Scotsman in this one and whats weird is that these are now being in produced in Vietnam

This has prompted me to offer my own take. My opinion on Nia and Rebecca leans towards the negative. I really like more females, different ethnicities and international characters being included, and I think N + R had some decent episodes. But there was so much unexplored potential. (1/5)
