Nearby the world's most famous mystery ship, the Mary Celeste, a brigantine, was built and launched in 1861. Was first named the Amazon, in 1868 she was driven ashore in a storm and after being repaired was renamed The Mary Celeste. In December of1872 she was discovered at sea with all sail set and everything in order, but not a person was onboard or ever found.

Spencer's Island #NS, my mom was from here. I grew up eating burgers and fries and fish 'n chips from paper bowls with a wooden fork at the end of what was the wharf. Almost every weekend and holiday and summer vacations were spent here. It's home to me, where I'm at peace. #BayOfFundy #NovaScotia

I read back in either March or maybe May that we've committed to the 16, I'm assuming that even if we paid for 4, committing means we're on the hook for the 16. That article had the cost at $100mln each.

We're contractually obligated to 16, if we cancelled we'd be out billions with no planes to even show for it. Buy them, commit them to NORAD, and the primary fleet are Gripens. Sweden's offer includes(I think)IP transfer, manufacturing and maintenance would be local.
