We went about our day and had other conversations.

At 9:30 pm he texted me from upstairs:
Dude, D'Angelo died??

BTW: Despite what every influencer around would have you believe, most American adults get enough protein in their diets. You don't need all those expensive powders and shakes and whatnot. Eat some chicken. Or cottage cheese (lol). Or beans. You know, actual food.

Yeah, I like the taste of (most) wine, bourbon, beer, etc! I rarely get drunk but I drink things because I enjoy them. And coffee is the nectar of the gods, lol. Weed I can take or leave but there are some genuinely tasty edibles out there.

Stories of failed arrests due to community response are inspiring. There's been great legal work to free people, too. But this stuff is mostly a brief flash of unmarked cars, and then somebody's gone. Over and over again. No matter how many people are eager to help and want better than this.
