Nic also famously has not watched much wrestling since he was in the wwe bubble for so long & was just maybe a little oblivious to things happening outside that bubble. I think it's pretty fair he had hesitations. I've loved his work in tna & he's gotten to do indies for the first time in his career

At this point, they probably know that most Americans will not be watching live. And in my whole friend group, everyone uses a VPN now to watch all wwe shows. That way you can watch everything on netflix, no additional subs, and I know for the weekly shows at least you dont get ads.

I do wanna just watch Cena and AJ Styles but I ain't waking up at 8am on my day off. I'll watch it later in the afternoon and fast forward through most of the show. VPNs are awesome because on occasion if there is something there I wanna watch, I can watch on Netflix and not pay anything additional.

Jesus the man has hosted that show for YEARS. Not everything is about a little rivalry among wrestling companies. The tv industry doesnt give a crap. He is a well known celebrity who has had many gigs hosting shows.
