I asked an LLM to produce a simple shell script and while it did a good job, it wasn't clear that getting it to do what I *actually* wanted was easier than just writing the script myself.

It seems to be a great tool for unqualified morons to pretend to work.

I met an East German "cabaret" director (its a whole thing) in the early 90s and no doubt mockery, coded jokes, and any single way you can get away with disrespect are absolutely key to bringing down authoritarian regimes.
